Total RNA Northern Blots - Rat Normal Tissue, Blots I, 1 Description
Rat adult normal total RNA Northern blots (NtHAN) are designed for rapidly screening tissue specific genes among human normal tissues. 20 μg total RNA was loaded on each lane of the blots. Compared with our mRNA Northern blot (NmHAN), NtHAN is more economical for detecting high abundance genes in major human tissue organs. Tissue panels in an identical format are available for immunohistochemisty and in situ hybridization. Also, the cDNAs from those tissues are available for PCR detection.
