Human Cytokine Array Kit 1.2 Fluorescent (1 slide, 16 samples) Description
The 14 cytokines detected using our Human Cytokine Microarrays are IL-1b, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IL-13, IFN-g, IP-10, MIP-1b, TNF-a, IL-12 (p40), IL-12 (p70). Each slide in the kit contains 16 identical arrays of 14 capture antibodies in quadruplicates and supports the analysis of up to eight or sixteen 40 ul samples. A cocktail of biotinylated detection antibodies is provided. The antibody pairs bind the cytokine antigens in a sandwich format. Cytokine detection is achieved with the addition of either streptavidin-fluorophore conjugate for fluorescent signals or streptavidin- alkaline phosphatase (AP) conjugate, followed by AP substrate for colorimetric development. A fluorescent or colorimetric array scanner is utilized to capture microarray images. Positive and negative controls spotted within each sub-array allow for assay validation. Standard cytokines are provided in Kits 2.1, 2.2, 4.1 and 4.2 for customers who need quantification of cytokines in samples.
