Immunogen: Rabbits were immunized with a synthetic peptide representing amino acid residues 95 to 108 (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) of RNA polymerase alpha subunit of simion virus 5 conjugated to KLH. Antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using the peptide immobilized on solid support.

Specificity: Anti-V5 Antibody detects (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) tag fusion protein.

Formulation: 1mg/ml in PBS (pH 7.2) with 0.1% Sodium Azide. Frozen liquid.

Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Aliquot will be stale at 4°C for 3 months.

Application: Western Blots: Colorimetric detection: 1:1,000 - 1:10,000 Chemiluminescent detection: 1:1,000 - 1:30,000. ELISA: Coating: 1:100 - 1:500 Primary: 1:1,000 - 1:30,000 Immunochemistry: 1:100 - 1:400 In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
