RFP Tag Antibody Description
RFP (monoclonal, IgG1)
Immunogen: Recombinant Red Fluorescent Protein (dsRed) expressed from bacteria.
Specificity: Designed to detect RFP and its variants in ELISA (sandwich or capture), immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation and immunohistochemistry.
Formulation: 1mg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.05% sodium azide. Frozen liquid.
Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at –20oC from the date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Aliquot will be stable at 40C for 3 months.
Application: Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by investigators. Prepare working dilution immediately before use. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows. Western Blot: 1:1,000; Immunoprecipitation: 5 µg/mg lysate; Histo/Cytochemistry: 1:200.
